The ‘strengthened’ HRS4R process is NOW available
23rd of May 2016
The European Commission services have published the report of the experts on ‘SHAPING THE FUTURE OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES STRATEGY FOR RESEARCHERS –HRS4R’.
The ‘strengthened’ of the HRS4R process will be implemented as of 1 January 2017.
What do I have to do if I am implemented the HRS4R process?
Institutions willing to enter the HRS4R implementation process (before of 1 January 2017) should submit their action plans on the following deadlines: 1-15 September and 1-15 November 2016, using the current templates.
What do I have to do if I have already implemented the HRS4R process?
The institutions that have already implemented the HRS4R process will go joining to the new one according to the stage in which they are at the considered moment.
As an example: We have the case of an institution which has HRS4R process already in place. In 2017 this institution will have to comply with the External Evaluation (just according to the current procedure). In 2017, this institution will have to be subjected to the stage of the acknowledgment of the renovation of the new procedure (which under the new procedure will occur 5 years after the HRS4R acknowledgment while under the current procedure occurs just in the fourth year after the acknowledgment of the HRS4R)
What do I have to do if I haven’t started the HRS4R process yet?
The First step is to write the Declaration of commitment to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Along with the draft guidelines for submission and assessment, you can already find the revised templates for submission and assessment of the different phases.
