About

Outline

The main aim of the project is to establish a robust methodology for identifying key economic sectors and consumption activity in the Cardiff Capital Region (CCR). This is intended to help the Economic Growth Partnership and the CCR Cabinet understand the sectoral strengths and weaknesses of the region, and to have robust and timely data on different sectoral performance and local consumption behaviours to inform key investment decisions. A further aim of this project is to critically reflect upon the role of sectoral approaches in addressing the place-based economic challenges in the region.
