Expression of interest to participate in EURAXESS Biennial Conference 2026

We are pleased to invite you to the EURAXESS Biennial Conference 2026: Evolving EURAXESS in a Changing World, which will take place from 28–30 October in Sofia, Bulgaria, in a hybrid format.

This year’s conference will be organised and hosted by Sofia University and held at the Hilton Sofia.

Only EURAXESS members can attend to the conference. To express your interest, you will need to log in to EURAXESS, and the registration button will appear in the top-left corner.

There are 15 places allocated to Spain; the places will be selected by the national coordinator, FECYT, based on the following criteria:

1. Level of engagement with the initiative (e.g. submission of statistics, implementation of activities, participation in coordination meetings) 

2. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to newer members of the network and those who have not recently participated in international EURAXESS activities

A reserve list will also be established, as depending on the cost of travel arrangements, it may be possible to offer additional places, as in previous editions.

Please note that you should not arrange any travel or accommodation, as this will be handled through a travel agency, which will contact you at a later stage.
