The Spanish R&D+I Observatory includes indicators related to science and innovation
The Spanish R&D+I Observatory (ICONO) of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) generates and rigorously analyses the most current information in relation to the main regional, national and international strategic indicators of science and innovation.
ICONO results from the need to measure the evolution of indicators related to science and innovation, which allows objective data to be contributed on the evolution of the productive model towards an innovative economy. FECYT’s R&D+I Observatory helps us to understand, be held accountable and advance in a planned way in improving the Spanish Science, Technology and Business System (SECTE).
It provides objective indicators on the evolution of science and innovation in Spain.
It summarises the main R&D+I strategies at a national and international level.
It disseminates the State R&D+I Plan 2013-2016, as well as the results of its calls.
At ICONO you will also find a complete map of research organizations in Spain, and a system of alerts to keep informed about official publication (launchings, resolutions,...) of public calls related to Spanish R&D+I system.
