How to collaborate in the REBECA by EURAXESS showcase page in LinkedIn

There are many options of contributing to existing pages either by generating posts in a LinkdeIN showcase page or by engaging with existing content through the tools offered by the platform.

Like other social media platforms LinkedIn uses tools which are used to maximise the engagement of members. This is the key terminology you should be aware of for engaging with the content of an existing showcase page.

  • Mentions: To mention another LinkedIn member in a post you are actively bringing them into the conversation. To mention a member simply type the @ symbol and begin writing in the name of the person you wish to mention.
  • Hashtags: Hashtags are used to index the post, so when a member is searching for a certain phrase the content will appear for them. To add a hashtag, type the # symbol followed by the key phrase of your post.
